Apply Within

  • How ya feelin'?: Kinda hungry
  • Music: HIM - Heartache Every Moment
  • Thinking About: How cold it is outside, and that i have to go back out now.

Geez it's chili out! Damn those cold winds! It was just 70° on Wednesday. After posting my previous post i knew readers would read, nod their heads and cheer my rebellion. You can use all 6 senses and understand what i'm saying and feel my compasion, pain, frustration and apathy. But it doesn't mean shit if you don't apply it to your daily life, then it becomes a fact that you read something. Being Apache means that we are doers not talkers, the essence in speaking the tongue is based on various applications of action. So if you've read the past post and done nothing to fight against the system, you're feeding the system. My dear brother Mike Runningwind for some time has spoken about knowing and applying, but only when i saw my own faults with it, did i understand the aspect of application, not the talking about the applying that will be done.

He says, "Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Willing is not enough; we must do. Life is a consistent process of relating. Man is living in a relationship and in relationships, we grow."  In essence, to think, is to plan a step, to know is to step, to realize is to jump, and to apply is to soar. It frustrates me as people who have read my journal, past and present had to scratch their brains and say wow somone really gets it, but if you know i get it, that doesn't mean you get it, because you didn't say these words out of your mouth. You just know of, not really knowing.

So this post title leads many to think of a work wanted sign. Signs are all over, and in subtle rhythmic ways. I got a call from Mike months ago, with enthusiam breaking out of his chest and epiphanic breaths he told me of the Snickers commercial. "Not going anywhere for a while?"  There is a message in the message, a key to a key so to speak about what words mean and who really says them. This world of the 21st Century is quick, so quick it blurs, and 24 hours no longer make up a day. In the end, i want to know if it was all spoken like it's spelled.
0 Patoie!.
